It is with deep sadness, but immense gratitude for a life built entirely on love, that we announce the passing of Sally Fitzpatrick on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Sally passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with lung disease. While at Juravinski Hospital, she was well cared for by many dedicated doctors and nurses. We appreciate their kindness toward our mom and we know she loved your daily conversations. Special thank you to Father Richard for coming to the hospital to pray with us and give mom her final blessing.

Mom will now join our dad, Bill, as they reunite together in heaven. A dedicated and loving mom to David (Nicole) and Natalie (Billy). She taught us how to love, laugh, and be kind to everyone we met. Her love for us and is our greatest blessing and we will miss her every day. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren whom she was extremely proud of and attended as many games and events as she could. Nonna will be missed dearly by her grandchildren Paul, Michael, Elyse, Matthew, Mikayla and Rylee. Each of them will keep their special memories close to their heart. Loving sister to Carm Lamantia and Angie Farrauto. Loving sister-in-law to Teresa Fitzpatrick, Jim (Julie) Fitzpatrick and Angelo Farrauto. Mom is dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She was a proud teacher for many years with the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic School Board where she touched the lives of many students – some of which would still come up to her to share stories and memories. Mom enjoyed spending time travelling, going to the casino, doing various art projects and most recently attending some of her favourite concerts including Il Divo, Il Volo, Matteo and Andrea Boccelli.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 7 at 11 a.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, followed by interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery where she will once again join our dad.
