It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kristine on July 12, 2026, in her 95th year. Kristine is now reunited with her beloved husband, John, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marital bliss. 

Kristine leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her beloved daughter Diane (late Antoni), and son Edward (Joan), Granddaughters Monica (Matthew), Michelle, Jennifer (Joel), Grandson Jonathan (Evan), Great-granddaughters Isabelle, Hannah and Chloe, Great-grandson Jax, Nephew Zdzisiu (Tonni), Nieces Marianne, Krystyna and Marysia, Grandnieces Yvette (Robert), Catherine (Darcey) and Catherine (Robert). She will also be deeply missed by her many great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews and all her friends.

She is also reunited with her parents, siblings and many other treasured family members and friends who went before her.

Kristine was an avid gardener. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family and friends. She was deeply grateful for the lifelong friendships she nurtured over the years and found her greatest happiness in the company of those she loved.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 3-6 p.m. Vigil prayers 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the  Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
