Sadly, we announce the unexpected passing of James (Jim) Tremain on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at his home in Binbrook. He was the beloved Dad of daughter Courtney Scrimshaw (Stephen). He was an amazing brother to Ron Tremain and Lorraine Bailey (Peter). He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Isabel Tremain and by his sister, Robin Leslie Tremain. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Taylor Tremain, Tess Joncas, and Christine Potter, nephew Mark Angle, and great-niece and great-nephews Olivia, Luke, and Evan Potter.

Jim dedicated nearly 50 years to the HVAC industry and was a well-respected installer known for his craftsmanship, hard work, and willingness to help others. Though he will be profoundly missed, he will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
