GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN is our mom Juliana (Julie) Bullock (Matychuk). After a brief illness, she passed away at the age of 93, peacefully at home. Predeceased by our beloved dad Albert Matychuk who passed in 2003 and her soul mate Robert (Bob) Bullock (in life inseparable, in death everlasting) in 2011. Greatly missed by the love of her life Allison (Al) Ruggles. Missing her also are her devoted children and their families: Son David (Jean) Matychuk; Grandson Thomas (Heather), Great-grandchildren Oliver, Henry and Simon. Granddaughter Gina Matychuk; Great-grandchildren Damion and Chelsea MacCannell and double Great-grandsons Jaxon and Max. Son Douglas (Debra) Matychuk; Grandson Mason (Alexandrea), Granddaughter Kayla (Mike) Herechuk and Grandson Dylan Matychuk. Daughter Donna (David) Dunbar.

Mom kept on the go but she always found time to have a good laugh as she touched and helped many along the way. Her greatest joys were playing cards, watching baseball games (Go Jays Go) and doing crossword puzzles with Al. Julie was a long-time member of the New Horizons Senior Club where she enjoyed playing euchre with her many friends. Sunday was Mom's day of worship where she attended the Salvation Army Winterberry Heights Church.

Thanks to the Palliative Care Team, VON Nurses and PSW workers who provided excellent care and comfort support in her final days.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 12 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment to follow.
