With a broken heart and overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Peter Casey, on June 10, 2026, at St. Peter’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit at the age of 74.

Peter leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Elaine, sharing a loving life together for the past 48 years.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Vera Casey, brother Patrick Casey, and sister-in-law Suzanne Sawyer.

He leaves behind his sister Carolyn (Len), brothers-in-law Rick (Linda), Ken (Sue), and Terry (the late Sandra). Will be missed by his nieces Angela, Laura, Jennifer, Jessica, Ashley, Katie, Kellie, and nephews Brian, Jonathan, Andy, and their children. He will also be missed by his spoiled fur baby Bella!

Prior to retirement, Peter worked at Domglass and Lakeport Brewery. He had a love of travelling, baseball, and was a fan of the New York Yankees. He enjoyed going to visit various Ball Stadiums with a goal of seeing them all. He loved his music, especially the Beatles. He also shared a love of Christmas with his wife and loved having family around to celebrate.

Sadly, he was taken from us too soon. There were many more adventures to explore with his family and friends.

In Peter’s memory, a donation to a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 9 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
