So sad to hear he passed. Always so much fun to have over. He was like a father to Billy Winning. Each time we went to visit Al & Ina he would give me some huge exotic rocks. He knew how I loved and collected them. All the rides in the corvette were some of my favorite memories. Billy and Al would put on top hats and laugh and drink beers. Al always had the funniest stories. Now he's with Billy. May he rest in peace. My condolences to Ina and the rest of the family.

Dad, daddy or Poppa
You would answer to any of these.
I remember car rides singing In a Dusty Old Attic, First Fall of Snow and many more.
Stories of ducks, turtles and a little blind boy with a dog told on long car rides.
Statler Brothers, Charlie Pride, Don Williams and more.
Molasses taffy and fudge made your way.You always had a sweet tooth.
Teaching us to play poker, taking spiders outside on a piece of paper and giving them a name so we wouldn't be scared of them.
Snowball fights where you went on the rooftop for a better advantage.
Crazy jokes and sayings.
We loved it all and we love you!❤️

Remembering when Alan took my husband and two children out in his beautiful classic yellow Packard. The kids rode in the rumble seat. I still don’t know who was more excited, Terry or the kids. But what a memory!!! With deepest condolences and heartfelt thoughts.

I have fond memories of my Dad. When I was younger we lived in the States for a few years. When Dad wasn’t working, we spent time at the local park sending up rockets that were popular at the time. When driving back and forth from Canada and the States, there was lots of music and storytelling. Many weekends were spent at flea markets.
Dad and I spent a lot of time together working on his construction projects and his much loved classic cars. We were fans of action movies, Star Trek and live action wrestling. Later I spent time with Dad by joining him and his friends at playing pool. Dad was a family man. He enjoyed entertaining us with his humour and singing. He was the man in charge of fireworks and making a fire for our enjoyable outdoor cookouts.
Dad, I love you and will miss you - know we are okay. Your favourite son, Allan xoxo

Allan the youngest son of my Aunt and Uncle Mary and Jack Wilson, is my cousin who will be remembered as always smiling, cigarette in one hand or beer and cards in the other. In his youth I remember him with my brother Geoff and I chasing him through fields. He was lucky to be loved by Donna, his first wife and Ina his present wife and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a great Dad and son. Always remembered for his Antiques and old cars. Heaven will not be the same now with Harry, Jackie and Allan riding top down in the universe. Member the Bateson sisters and uncles are up there watching you!
You will be missed by your cousin,Penelope (Penny) May Roberts (Lee).
