After a long battle fought with courage and dignity, it is with great sadness the family of Shirley North announces her passing on Monday, May 25, 2026, at McNally House. Beloved wife of the late Jim (2010). A devoted mother to Michelle (Dennis) and Michael (Cathi). Cherished Grandma of Kyle (Anna), Zachary (Taylor), Mitchell (Vanessa), Taylor (Shane), Sam (Tyson), Andrew, Matthew and great-grandmother of Sawyer Buddingh. Loving sister of Marlene (John) and Robert (Margaret). She will also be missed by her brother-in-law Bob North. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by many extended friends and family.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to Follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to McNally House Hospice.
