Deborah Wedge or as most knew her, Debbie passed away surrounded by the love of her family, at St. Josephs Hospital on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 67.

Beloved and devoted wife of the late Douglas Wedge. Much loved mother of Carrie (Jamie) Daniels and Sarah (Mike McEntee). She was a proud grandmother to Carter, Jordon, Zack, Mikey, TJ and a cherished great-grandmother to Nadine, Naomi, Dawson and Katrina. Debbie is remembered by her siblings Georgie, Patsy, Donna, Sherry, Brian, Fred and Rick. She is reunited with her sisters Lorraine and Judy, as well as her parents Lorne and Dorothy Colling and in-laws Mae and Arthur Wedge. Debbie will be greatly missed by many extended family, friends and her beloved dog, Bella.

Debbie was truly a friend to all. She was known for her beautiful gardens, a place where everyone gathered and memories were made. She could spend hours clearing all the helicopters from her yard, before they were back the next day. Her other love was watching her grandson on the drag strip.

Debbie’s legacy lives on through her family, her friendships and the countless moments of kindness and joy she shared throughout her life.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. As per her wishes cremation has taken place.
