Peter Malleau Obituary

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Peter James Malleau on April 14, 2026 in his 67th year.

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Glenna, Hank (Sheryl), Jonathan (Larry), Matthew (Melissa) along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by his good friend, Dave, whose friendship meant so much to him.

He is preceded in death by his loving siblings David and Carole-Jean who he shared a special bond with.

Peter was a creative and artistic soul whose talents carried into his work, where he was known as hardworking and dedicated. Peter was a craftsman often making and creating masterpieces of art and eclectic substance. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed gifting people his artwork and craftsmanship. He was highly intelligent and the great debater of the family. He had a sharp wit, a strong and highly opinionated personality, an athletic spirit, and a memorable sense of humour that left lasting impressions on everyone who knew him.

He shared a special bond with his niece, Jasmyne, or as he called her, his “little buddy”, who often rode along happily in the baby seat he installed for her on the back of his bike, one of many simple joys Peter treasured.

As per Peter’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Saturday, May 2, 2026 starting at 11 a.m. A Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In memory of Peter, donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, a cause close to the family’s heart.

Peter will be remembered for his individuality, laughter, and the genuine connections he made throughout his life.
