It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrzej Wojtkowski on April 3rd, 2026 at the age of 72.
He will be missed by all who knew him especially by his wife Hanna, sister's Anita and Grazyna, son Marcin, daughter-in-law Magda and grandchildren Alexander, Matthew and Evan, as well as, dearest friends Maja and Jarek Kosmowski. Andrzej was predeceased by his son Filip. We take comfort knowing that you are now at peace. You will forever live in our hearts and memories.
In his younger years Andrzej was a professional ballroom dancer. He met his wife Hanna at the Palace of Cultures in Warsaw. Together they danced their life away for almost 55 years. He was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He loved to travel and explore the beauty of this world and what it had to offer. Andrzej was a master fixer of electronics and a computer wiz. He loved problem solving, always ready to help whoever was in need. Solving sudoku, playing Bridge and enjoying watching a good match of tennis or Formula One racing were some of his favourite hobbies.
As per Andrzej’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on April 30th 2026 at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney, between 4-8 p.m.with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Mass will follow on May 1, 2026 at 10 a.m., St. Stanislaw Kostka Church, 8 St. Ann Street, Hamilton followed by burial at Our Lady Of The Angels Catholic Cemetery, 681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek.
