Petar Buac, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 45.

Petar was a devoted father, beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, and friend. He will be remembered not only for his strength and kindness, but for the deep love he gave so freely to the people in his life. He had a way of making others feel safe, understood, and never alone.

His presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him, and his loss leaves a space that can never truly be filled. The memories he created with his loved ones will be held onto tightly and cherished forever.

Petar is survived by his children, Emma and Lily, his brother, Nikola (Maja), and his mother, Mirjana, as well as his partner, Bri. He was also a loving uncle to Stefan, Ana, and Nina. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

A service to honor Petar’s life will be held at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, 725 Hwy 8, Hamilton, ON L8E 5J6, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14th. Close family will be gathering earlier in the morning; we kindly ask that their privacy be respected during this time and that guests do not arrive before 10:00 a.m. Thank you for your understanding.
