July 17, 1935-April 2, 2026 

With family at her side, Willy went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Thursday April 2, 2026 at Emmanuel House Hospice, Hamilton ON. 

Willy was the 10th of 14 children to Roelf and Gosseline (Wijma) Storteboom. Predeceased by husband Ray (2018), 9 of her siblings, and 25 in-laws of the Hoiting and Storteboom families.  

Loving mom to Linda and Tony Jeronimus, Brighton ON, Coby Hoiting, Stoney Creek ON, Brian and Veronica Hoiting, Woodstock ON, Brenda and Ed Selke, Ponoka AB, Richard and Carla Hoiting, Stoney Creek ON, Liz and Colin Elkin, Pointe Au Baril ON. 

Willy was also Oma to 21 grandchildren and their 12 spouses. She was blessed to be a Great Oma to 28 great-grandchildren whom she loved fiercely and prayed for continually. 

Willy was the “Tante Willy” to 100 nephews and nieces, 7 with the Lord and 93 scattered around Canada, the USA, Netherlands and Belgium. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. On Friday, April 10, all are welcome at the interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek, ON at 10 a.m. with a Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. at Family Church of Heritage Green, 360 Isaac Brock Dr, Stoney Creek ON.
