It is with great sadness that the family of Jane Ann Florence Caryk announce her peaceful passing at the age of 70 in the presence of loved ones on March 29th, 2026.

Jane was predeceased by her soulmate and loving partner, Anthony DuPont, mother Dolores Gibson (nee Spence), and siblings Jeffrey and Laurie. She leaves behind her stepfather James Gibson, daughter Rebecca, granddaughter Tylene, nephew Derek (Amy), niece Melissa (Colin), their children, nephew Alex, her dear friend Christy, her cousins, as well as many friends and neighbours.

Some of Jane’s happiest times through the years were spent with her horses, her pets, and on annual trips to the Florida Keys and New Jersey with loved ones. She could light up a room with her smile and sense of humour both at work and with family.

In keeping with Jane’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will be receiving friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.

She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
