It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Marie Van De Pol on March 28, 2026.

Linda was a loving wife to her husband Rob of 45 years, and a proud, caring mother to her three daughters: Elyse (Hector), Melanie (Scott), and Britney (James). Survived by her brothers Brian (Mary) and Doug. Predeceased by her brother Gary and Parents Audrey, Harry, and stepfather Joe.

She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was a deeply cherished grandmother to James, Lilly, McKinley, Carter, Eliana, Cohen, and Logan, who brought her endless joy and pride.

She spent 15 years working at Costco in the Meadowlands, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. Linda truly valued the relationships she built there, forming many lifelong friendships with coworkers. She took pride in her work and brought a sense of warmth and humour to those around her, making each day a little brighter for the people she encountered.

Linda found so much happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the trailer, where she built a special community of friends who became like family. Those moments—filled with laughter, connection, and togetherness—meant the world to her. She also enjoyed watching hockey and baseball, and could often be found relaxing with a good book or puzzle. 

Linda faced lung disease with quiet strength and resilience, showing courage through even the most difficult days.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her love for her family, and the way she made people feel welcomed and cared for. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Carmens Banquet Centre on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 1-5 p.m.
