Passed away surrounded by his family on March 24, 2026, at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Joan for 56 years. Loving father of Tracy (Dean). Proud grandfather of Kayleigh and Ashlynn. Dear brother of Valerie (Bill), Donald (Catherine), and the late Gary. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and his beloved pet, Toby.

Robert worked at Stelco for 40 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Ghelani, the staff of Bayshore Nursing Care, and especially the staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, for their kind and compassionate care.

In memory of Robert, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation and a private family service have taken place.
