Michael “Mike” Baker, a beloved son, father, grandpa, great grandpa passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 with his daughter by his side.

Mike was a passionate lifelong musician who loved making music and always felt lucky to be able to play with other talented friends and musicians. Mike took his talent to another level when he started building guitars and anybody that had the honour of playing one could feel the passion he had.

Mike will be deeply missed by his father Robert aka Smokey, daughter Michele (Chris), grandkids Jacey (Tahj), Paige and Brady, great-granddaughter Meadow, brothers Dan (Betty), John (Barb) and brother by choice Jon Renwick (Mary) as well as all his nieces and nephews and many friends.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Hamilton Music Collective. 

How quiet the future feels without the voice we always thought would be here.
