With profound sadness, our family announces the death of our beloved Jolanta Jason (Jokubynas) on March 12, 2026.

Surrounded by family, she passed away peacefully. Holding her hands, we did not say goodbye, only that we loved her.  Born on October 11, 1958, in Hamilton, Ontario, she was the daughter of Jonas and Irena Jokubynas.  Jolanta is survived by her siblings, Kristina and Paul (Christine); her family Anita, Vidas, Skaidra, Aras Puodziunas; and many dear friends, especially Joanne, who was like a sister.

She was predeceased by her parents Jonas and Irena Jokubynas.

Memorial donations may be made to Jolanta’s favourite charities, Nature Conservancy of Canada or Hamilton SPCA.

Visitation will be held on March 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at 3:30 p.m.  Visitation and Celebration at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario.
