Obituary of Gary Milmine

Gary Milmine passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the age of 63. He was surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary was a devoted husband to Leanne Milmine, a proud father, grandfather, and a steady presence to his family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Nicole Milmine and her partner Julian Hartman, and by his son Brennan Milmine and his partner Marissa Bennett.

He is also fondly remembered by his siblings Lisa Hall (John), Brad Milmine (Alison), and Leanne Gilbert (Graham).

A hard-working farmer and skilled tradesman, Gary spent his life building, fixing, and providing. He was known for his strong work ethic, practical skill, and willingness to help others—qualities that defined both his work and his character. Whether working the land or applying his trade, Gary took pride in honest work and a job done right.

Gary was a cherished grandfather to Eva Salisbury and Jaxon Salisbury, and he held forever in his heart his grandson Hayden Salisbury, who passed before him. He is also lovingly remembered by Brennan’s children, Layne Milmine, Levi Milmine, and Landon Milmine.

Gary will be remembered for his strength, humility, and deep dedication to his family. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, who were the greatest pride of his life.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 12 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Private family interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
