Obituary of Tom Curran

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the very sudden passing of our brother Thomas William Curran, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Tommy is survived by our mother, Mary Curran, and was predeceased by our father, Thomas Curran Sr., just a few months ago in September.

Tommy leaves behind his two daughters, Lillian and Hayley, whom he loved and adored. He will be forever missed by the love of his life and best friend, Christina Fenske; his stepchildren, Bailey and Riley Rudolphi, and their spouses, Cameron and Maddie; and his grandchildren, Avery, Aidyn, Isabella, Gabriella, and Maya, who all lovingly called him Papa.

Tommy was the second youngest of five brothers: Stephen (spouse Kerry), Brian (spouse Caroline), Cory, and Michael. His nieces and nephews include Jordin, Blake, Cameron, Ryley, Aiden, Colin, and Josh.

Tommy will also be deeply missed by his beloved dog, Dolly, whom he loved like a daughter.

Tommy was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Union and served as a former Vice President.

We are happy to announce that Tommy was able to save two people's lives as an organ donor.

A private family Funeral is planned for Monday, February 9th  in Stoney Creek at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for all co-workers, friends and family will take place on Saturday, February 21st from 3 to 7 p.m. at the United Steel Workers 7135 Union Hall at 1031 Barton St., Hamilton.
