Obituary of Lynda Beverley Cargill

Suddenly at the Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, January 29, 2026, of Stoney Creek, in her 74^th year. Beloved sister of Dale Byers nee Cargill and sister-in-law to Jack Byers. Loving Aunt (Annie) to Leslie Byers and Great Aunt (Annie) to Lucy McKee-Byers. Predeceased by her parents Beverley and Victor Cargill.

Lynda’s working career was primarily at Sears Canada until her retirement. Always happy and cheerful when joining the “Sears Ladies” for lunch on a monthly basis. Lynda had a wonderful circle of friends. She always looked forward to getting together for birthday lunches, home visits, and had volumes of phone conversations daily. Her capacity to give was without bounds. Her true love was Zoe, the little dog she loved and lived for. You could always find Lynda in the park for social gatherings, giving treats to all the dogs at the park.

At Lynda’s request, cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ladybird Animal Sanctuary would be appreciated.
