“Miss Linda” was the first educator for both of my preschool aged children over 20 years ago. She was THE BEST. She intuitively understood each and every child’s needs. She loved them all. Her “Stepping Stone to School” program was creative, fun and a blessing to each student and their parents. We have the fondest memories of Miss Linda to this day. Thank you Linda for sharing your light with our family during those years and beyond. Our heartfelt condolences to Gary and her family. The Backman Family; Trisha, Doug, Christopher and Lilianna

Dear Gary. Collin and I were so sorry to hear that Linda is no longer with us. We rejoice with you that she now is with her Saviour whom she loved so much. We pray you will receive the comfort from the Lord, friends and family as you adjust to life without her. We fondly remember walking past your place and checking to see if you were home. Both of you had powerful testimonies of the Lord's faithfulness to you which encouraged our faith in our Saviour. We love you
Collin and Irene

Awww I'm sad to hear that Linda has left us. She was a huge supporter of Urban Wildlife Care and loved her squirrels. She volunteered with us feeding the babies and always taught the children she looked after at her daycare about being compassionate for every living being. I was in awe of her spirit and I'm blessed to have known her. Big hugs to Gary and her beautiful daughters and families.

I’m so sorry to hear of my dear friends passing. Linda was a very loving, kind person who loved the Lord. It was a blessing to be part of her ladies Bible study in her home for many years. My favorite memories are when her and Robin came to visit us in our Portugal home and all the euchre games we had. So fun. She will be so missed by so many people. My prayers are with the family for God’s peace to be with them.

A precious moment with my Grandson. My Grandchildren loved their time at Stepping Stones. Linda was so kind and compassionate as well as preparing for their next step into JK. Linda was one of a kind who will be dearly missed by many.

Linda, we are so heartbroken by your passing, you are now at peace in God’s loving arms.
You gave us our first bible in 1974. Your faith, courage, and compassion were an inspiration to everyone who knew you.
You were one of the most loving and genuine people we have ever known.

Our deepest sympathies to the family on the loss of Linda. I think of all of their times that we spent together having fun at your pool. Our dads, Steve and Elmo were best of friends for so long.
I was so grateful to Linda for arranging to get our dads back together again for one last visit in their elder years.
Sincerely, Angie van der Zalm (nee Nunziato)

I think back to all the amazing summers spent at Linda & Terry's parents house. I enjoyed a beautiful and lasting friendship with Linda's sister Terry while my sister Sharon and Linda were best buddies for as long as I can remember.
Linda & Sharon always telling Terry and I to behave... lol Those fabulous summers were a long, long time ago, but the memories will forever hold a special place in my heart
Rest in peace dear friend
