Obituary of Donald Charles Alexander Watson

Peacefully at St. Peters Hospital, Hamilton, on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 63 years. Loved father of Rick (Joan), Ron (Sandy) and Lynn (Norm Caselman). Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as 1 great-great-grandchild. Donald was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Charles and siblings Bessie (Betty) and Bob. Will also be lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews.

Donald loved golf, both playing and watching, he was a member of the Knights Of Columbus for over 30 years, was an active member of the community as a Volunteer with the Cancer Assistance Program and Ostomy Hamilton as well as being a member of the Hamilton Diabetes Association. Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Parish, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11 a.m.
