Obituary of Paula Lynn Waldner
Paula Lynn Waldner (nee Swiderski), 52, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 15, 2026 after a long fight with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Buffalo, NY on October 2, 1973 to Ray and Judy Swiderski. She grew up in Cheektowaga, NY and lived in Cheektowaga, Hamburg and West Seneca until her marriage to Anthony Waldner when she moved to Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Paula and Anthony were married on May 12, 2012 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Paula graduated from West Seneca West High School in 1991 and attended Erie Community College and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. She worked as an administrative assistant since 1995 in the fields of real estate, health insurance and payroll. She loved her work and was excellent at her job. Paula adored polar bears and everyone knew it. She was so proud of her collection. Paula also loved bowling, baking treats at Christmastime, diamond painting and playing Pokemon Go. She loved all animals, especially her loyal dog Tanky, among many other pets throughout the years.
Paula is survived by her husband Anthony Waldner, mother Judy Swiderski, brother Mark (Darlene) Swiderski, sister Karen (Mike) Blatto, mother-in-law Cathy Waldner, sister-in-law Tina Kennedy, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved father Ray Swiderski and grandmother, Pauline Swiderski.
Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Kingsview Community Church on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to AARF-Animal Angel Rescue Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
