Obituary of Sylvia Betty Tomlinson (Hampson)

‘Absent from the body, present with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.’

Sylvia was born June 23, 1941, and passed peacefully on January 10, 2026, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Ed Tomlinson after 58 years of marriage and together they had worked on their dairy farm in York, Ontario. Loved mother of Robin (Annette), Paul (Michelle), Karen Thomas (Duane) and Susan Cicero (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Alyshia (Bart), Melissa (Josh), Joshua, Grace, Brenna, Sydney, Wesley, Jovie, Lana and great-grandchildren Ethan and Kelsea. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Lynda Brien (Jack) along with her nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Dan and Beatrice Hampson and her sister Diana Hampson.

Sylvia was a lady with a strong faith in God, and she lovingly lived her life in service to Him through her involvement in various churches and their ministries.
