My name is Douglas Murray; I worked with Brian at SCI later known as WestRock for 10 years…I was shocked in learning of Brian’s passing. Judy Stempski you have my sympathy for your loss and I send my condolences to your family. I’ll share a story. Occasionally I would sit or help at the editor while Brian could get away for a few minute. I enjoyed listening to some of his stories and his work on Airstream Trailer that he acquired along with rebuilding small engines (lawn mowers & snowblowers) Brian visited me & Colleen a couple of times bringing his dogs. One visit from our 2nd floor window in the kitchen I pointed to a very large tree that was above our upper bedroom.I said here’s a challenge Brian; take down the tree and I will give you a 6 piece bedroom suite. Wouldn’t you know it, Brian showed up a couple of weeks later with 2 chainsaws and looking up at that tree he remarked “that is a big tree, 3 stories plus high)….When all was done we had a full backyard of cut up tree. Ten years ago I was the first to have ever retired at WestRock and Brian is one I will always remember. May you Rest in Peace Brian. Your friend; Doug
