Obituary of Ian Allen Taylor

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Ian Taylor, husband, dad, and brother, at the age of 79, on December 17, 2025. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years, Anne; his children, Deirdre and Brian; his son-in-law, Colin; and his brother Dexter (Theresa).

Ian loved a good meal, curling, travel, reading sci-fi and detective stories, and all the family dogs.  He was thrilled to watch our beloved Blue Jays make their glorious 2025 World Series run.

At Ian’s request, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
