It is with great sadness that the family of Ricky Tschritter announces his sudden passing at home on December 15, 2025, at the age of 65.

Ricky was a loving husband to his wife of 44 years, Irene, who stood by his side through a lifetime of shared memories. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Ricky (Keira) and Travis, and was a cherished Opa to his beloved grandchildren, Noah and Lily. Ricky is also survived by his mother, Rose, and his brother, Wolfgang. He was predeceased by his father, Erwin.

Ricky will be fondly remembered as a true outdoorsman with a deep love for fishing, long country drives, and motorcycles. Above all else, he was a devoted and loving father and family man whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 18th from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
