Obituary of John Kenneth Evoy

It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, and Papa, John Evoy, on November 29, 2025. Surrounded by love, he left this world with the same quiet strength, humility, and dignity that defined his life.

John will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Margaret (née George); his children Carol Ann, Sean, and Krista Castellani (Cam); and his grandchildren Ashton and Evelyn. He is reunited in heaven with his cherished grandson, Alex; his parents, Kenneth and Helen; and his sister, Jane.

John was a graduate of McMaster University, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. He dedicated 34 years of his professional life to Siemens Westinghouse.

Our family extends our deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness they provided during John’s final days. We are also deeply thankful for the many prayers, thoughts, and messages of support offered for John and our family—they brought us great comfort during a difficult time.
