Obituary of Delia Laviolette

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Delia Olga Laviolette (née Spezza) announce her passing November 29, 2025. Predeceased by her husband John Ralph Laviolette (2019), brother Anthony Spezza and her parents Alberto and Maria Spezza. Mourning her passing are her son Richard and his wife Ann Laviolette; and their children Michelle, Dustyn and Hudson Gallagher, Jacqueline Laviolette, Branden Popejoy-Maunder and Ethen, and her daughter Joan and her husband Rick McElroy; and their children Jeannette, Shawn Cayer, Rachel, Liam, Patricia, Joe Nordegraaf, Grant, Violet, Laura, Damien Northmore and Desmond.

Delia lived a life of caring, sharing, and doing for family and others, always with a smile and love. She will be missed.

The family would like to thank Danny and Kathy Gregoire and Jamiee for all their help with Nana, St Jospeh’s Hospital ER, ICU and CCU for their compassion and support, and Grandview Retirement Living.

As per Delia’s Wishes, Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
