Obituary of Evelyn Rose Saynor

(nee Bramer)

Entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour peacefully at Regina Gardens, on December 6, 2025 in her 97th year.

Evelyn was the seventh of fifteen children born to William and Annie Bramer and the beloved wife and friend of the late James R. Saynor.

She was a devoted mother to James (Ellen Fibison), Patricia (Don Ruddle), Wayne (Diane), and Scott.

She was a loving grandmother to Lee Saynor; Catherine (Dave Moon), Jennifer (Graeme Kirk), James Ruddle (Courtney West), Elizabeth (Ethan Clark); Andrew Saynor (Rosalie), Katelyn (Dave Angus); Brittany (Kent Kornelsen), Johanna (Stephen Brodie), Marnix Saynor (Annie) and Jacoba Saynor.

She was a precious great-grandmother to William, Isadora & Vander Moon; Emily, Ruby and Finnian Kirk; Charlotte, Madeline, and Lincoln Ruddle; Evelyn, Ashtyn, and Mavis Clark; Ethan and Jasper Saynor; William, Benjamin and Jacob Angus; Atticus, and Emerik Kornelsen.

Evelyn will be fondly remembered also by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from her Robinson St. apartment, Central Presbyterian Church, Stanley Ave. and West 5th Baptist Churches, and Bethany Gospel Chapel. Special thanks to the staff of Regina Gardens for their excellent care over the last eighteen months.

Visitation at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek on Friday, December 12th from 10 a.m. - noon and Burial Service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main St. W. Hamilton at 1:00 p.m.
