Obituary of Donna Evelyne Melarangeli

October 7, 1948 – November 30, 2025

Called home to the Lord on November 30, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, at age 77. Beloved wife of Alec for 56 years. Loving mother of Ernestina (Melle), Lee (Erica), and Sara (Christopher). Proud Grandma to Olivia and Hope. Dear sister to Caroline (Frank), the late George (Audrey), and sister-in-law to the late Angela, Francesca (Giuseppe), and Carmela (Tony). Loving Aunt to Jessica (Jordan), Danielle, the late Connie (Piero), Rob (Amber), Alex (Rosetta), Ilda (Gino), Lisa (Peter), Cristina (Joe), Paolo (Órlaith), Carla, and Sabrina. She will also be missed by many great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the PSWs who visited the house, as well as staff at Hamilton General and St. Joseph’s Hospitals.

A private family Funeral Mass has taken place, with interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Chapel Hill Road, Stoney Creek.
