Obituary of Anne Catherine Brown

It is with deep love and gentle sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne (aged 91) who entered into rest November 5, 2025. She lived a long and beautiful life filled with kindness and quiet strength. She was the source of steady love - a mother who encouraged, a Nana who celebrated every milestone and a friend who offered comfort simply by being present. She believed in the simple joys - a well tended garden and the sound of family laughter around the table. She taught by example - showing that patience is a gift, love is a choice and compassion is a legacy. We aspire to follow in her footsteps.

Devoted wife of the late James (Larry in the business world) with whom she built a life rooted in partnership, loyalty and enduring love. Loving mother of Douglas (Alison), Laurel (Rick), Michael (Mary). Warm hearted Nana of Zachary (Kayla), Kirsten (Dhulkifl), Erica, Julia (John), Ryan (Chelsea), Adrien (Ana). Soft hearted Great Nana of Noor, Rafi, and Lachlan, who brought her endless happiness and light. Sister of Audrey and Barry, sister-in-law of Yvonne and Pat, survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Forever in the hearts of best friend Christine, godson Aaron and their family. Reunited in peace with those who passed before her, son David, brothers Robert and Paul, brothers-in-law Donald and Alec, sisters-in-law Arlene and Joyce.

All who loved her are warmly invited to attend a celebration of Anne‘s life on Sunday, December 14, from 12 pm. until 4 p.m. at the Powerhouse Restaurant, 21 Jones St., Stoney Creek.
