Obituary of Nathan Krampitz
Nathan Krampitz, age 95, went peacefully into the presence of his wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
It has been said by one of the directors of OMS in honoring Nathan that “Rev. and Mrs. Krampitz were missionary heroes, hearing and obeying their call, learning to live and thrive in a foreign environment and most of all demonstrating their love for the Lord and His people in India by serving, sacrificing, and reproducing themselves in those they served."
Nathan’s life was marked by a deep love for God and for people. His faithful message of “Jesus saves” touched countless lives across many countries during his years of pastoring, teaching and missionary service and even in his last days in hospital.
Nathan was predeceased by his first wife, Fern, and his second wife, Anne—blessed by love twice in his long and faithful life.
He will be deeply missed by his children Susan Weil (Larry), Paul Krampitz, and Mark Krampitz (Alisa); and lovingly remembered by his granddaughters Katie and Libby.
Nathan was also dearly loved by his second family: Cathie (Peter) Lemmond, Jeanette (Kevin) Simpson, and Anne Marie (late Brad) Collingwood, along with their children and grandchildren—all of whom cherished their beloved “Papa Nathan.”
Nathan will be dearly missed by his sisters Rita Martin, Frieda Diewert, and Agnes Olson, all residing in British Columbia.
A Celebration of Nathan’s amazing life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Hamilton Baptist Church, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to OMS (One Mission Society), where Nathan faithfully served for over 30 years, or to Mount Hamilton Baptist Church, where he joyfully fellowshipped for more than 20 years.
