Obituary of George Richard Uzarowski

January 3, 1953 - November 8, 2025

After a nearly decade long battle with Cancer, George passed away at Jurivinski Hospital on November 8th, 2025. He was in his 73rd year. Born in Guelph Ontario George relocated to Hamilton Ontario and built a life with his beloved wife Sharon Uzarowski(nee Hudacin) of 46 years. Loving father to Tom and Raj (Sodhi),  Paul and Cristina (nee Serafin). Cherished Jaja to Calliope, Fallon, Sabrina, Shane, Sonia, Shawn and Shaydon. Great grandfather to Autumn, Amari, Zhyan and Amaya. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Wanda and brother John. George leaves behind many nieces,nephews, family and friends.

A 30 year veteran of Dofasco #2 melt shop and EAF. George was a family man who gave his family all they wanted and needed. Spending time with family was his favourite thing to do. He also loved sports, playing baseball and hockey in his younger years. He loved to watch Calliope play basketball along with the Tiger Cats, Maple Leafs, Blue Jays; and listening and dancing to Polka music.  

Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue, Stoney Creek  on Wednesday, November 12th from 5-8 p.m. with a Service to be held November 13th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, 2280 Barton Street E, Hamilton.
