Obituary of Catharine Jane Darling

Darling, Catharine Jane (Nee: Kott) R.N., B. Sc. N.,

Born in Stoney Creek, Ontario, February 6, 1946, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on October 21^st 2025.  Pre-deceased by her father and mother Charles and Marie Kott.  She will be missed by her loving husband John of 56 years, her brothers Mike (Deceased) (Lila) Kott, Tom (Joan) Kott, Tim Kott, her dear sister Susan Swayze, and her many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. 

Cathy touched the lives of many people.  The most important things in her life were her trust in God in all circumstances, her husband, family and friends.  Cathy was a dedicated Critical Care Nursing Instructor and Head Nurse at several hospitals.  She was creative, enthusiastic, practiced hospitality and had a generous and loving heart. 

There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life at Paramount Drive Alliance Church, 1035 Paramount Drive, Hamilton, ON, on November 15^th 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Flowers gratefully declined.  Donations in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
