Obituary of Anita Vidovic

It is with profound sadness and extreme heartache that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of our Beloved Anita on November 3, 2025. Born October 14, 1987 in Zagreb, Croatia. Beloved wife of Brandon Teglas. Loving Daughter of Damir and Ljubica Vidovic. Predeceased by her loving sister and best friend Andrea (2021). She will be greatly missed by her family, Kumovi, Friends and colleagues in Canada, U.S.A., Croatia, Serbia, Germany, and Denmark.

She was a graduate of McMaster University. She worked for the City of Hamilton. Her family meant everything to her. Anita loved people and was always happy, outgoing and full of life. Her compassion and sweet, calming demeanor touched the hearts of everyone she came into contact with. Words cannot describe the pain that we are feeling and the hole that will forever be left in all our hearts with her passing.

Special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Tselios for his great care, compassion and efforts in helping Anita. And thank you to the ICU MS and CV staff at the General Hospital.

Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, November 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral will be held for Anita at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd S, Hamilton, on Friday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens, 735 Hwy #8, Stoney Creek.
