Uncle Jack always started with “well let me tell ya something” and you would settle yourself in because it was always a captivating story. He was a great storyteller with a warm soft chuckle as he recounted family moments. Love you. Miss you. Never forget you.

My Big Brother Jack.
He sure knew how to entertain a room or a campfire. If he didn't have you in laughter he had you singing along to Johnny Cash and many others. Every July 1st he would break out the song " I wouldn't take a million dollars for a single maple leaf". And he really meant it. He cherished the many years of fishing trips with his brothers and his nephews. He was a mentor to me growing up and taught me so much about the real life, not the "Bambi "world. Jack did things his way and always had the courage of his own convictions. And expected nothing less from those around him. I remember the tale of him grounding his club in the sand trap while playing in a tournament and being called out for it. He was told..." you cant do that" as he replied " yes I can. It might cost me 2 stroke penalty, but I can do it". That's the way he lived life too.
He was always so great to my 3 sons while they grew up as he taught them valuable life lessons and great golf swings. He cherished his family and absolutely adored his soulmate, Karen.
As he always said " I guess we're scuppered now and "that'll do til we get a good strong rope"
Rest in Peace Jack and we'll make one more trip to Jacque Rock

A great man and role model. So many great memories fishing and always enjoyed the time we spent talking, laughing and singing. You will forever be in my heart!
Love your nephew, Wayne
