Mary Ann and I met in 1972 at a summer school course for teaching family studies, driving together to Brock each day.
Over the years I appreciated MaryAnn’s warmth, her brilliance and interest in education, art, politics and love of family. MaryAnn’s generosity of spirit for others was measureless, R.I.P. MaryAnn. My deepest sympathy to family and friends at your loss. Mardie Panabaker

I worked with Mary Anne at Parkview and she was a true light to both staff and students. I was a young teacher when we first met and she went out of her way to make sure I felt heard and supported..Her library break room was therapy for everyone. Mary Anne knew how to handle every situation with the utmost compassion. What a great loss to the world. She will truly be missed! My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family!

I worked with Mary Ann at Parkview Secondary. She cared deeply about the students. She went out of her way to help them anyway she could. The students were always welcome in her library any time of the day. She stayed after the school day was finished so that any students who needed someone to talk to, they had somewhere to go to and talk.
She was also very kind to all staff members. She loved to laugh and join in all activities.
If you felt down, just have a chat with Mary Ann and your spirits were lifted.
She often spoke of her family with love.
RIP Mary Ann

I first met Mary Ann when we were members of the Croatian National Home dance ensemble
Along with her sister Jane, we shared many fun times during those years. I was fortunate to have met up with her again much later in life when I was supply teaching at the same school at which she taught. She made me feel welcome and introduced me to many staff members. I will remember her as a warm and talented lady. My condolences to the family

My condolences to Mary Ann's family. We were good friends during our teenage years. Unfortunately we lost touch. We met as performers with the Croatian National Home. We also were cheerleaders and had the pleasure to attend a cheerleading camp in Michigan. This culminated in a fabulous shopping spree in Detroit. Great memories of Marianne in those early days. Thank you for wonderful tribute to your mom

We wish to send our heartfelt condolences to the family.
Mary Ann was the coolest mom ever. From my days growing up, I remember how she always let us be ourselves and do whatever we wanted — and I think we all turned out to be pretty good adults because of that. Joe and Sue, please know she’s now in a better place.
May she rest in peace.
With love and sympathy,
Your friends, Rob, Sue, and Sarah.

Mrs. Jazvac was a beautiful woman whom inspired me with her intelligence and loving spirit. Taught me so many practical things that I still do to this day. One of my favourite teachers at Barton Secondary. Please know that she made a difference and prayers of love and gratitude shall be said for her. Also, and certainly prayers will be said for family and friends that GOD may hold you in peace and comfort as you journey through this time of deep loss. Another beautiful soul has gone home. Big hug Mrs Jazvac I never told you as a teen, but I loved you.
