Obituary of Sandra Allen (nee Clapham)

Sandra passed away peacefully at St. Peters Hospital. She is reunited with her parents, Gladys and John, and her loving husband, Jack. Her children, Jeannette and Roger, will miss her dearly as well her grandchildren, Katelyn, Jessica, Veronique and Brittany. She was a proud great-grandmother to her six great-grandchildren. Sandra was previously deceased by her sisters, Gladys, Lois, Ruth and Dolores and survived by her brother Robert.

Sandra was a vibrant, spunky, and caring person. She loved travelling, curling, bowling, watching sports, and spending time with her friends and family. She was always so willing to help those she cared about and was the epitome of a loyal, lifelong friend. A tenacious and fun-loving woman, she will truly be missed.

The family would like to thank the staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre, Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospitals for their wonderful care.

In lieu of a Funeral, Sandra requested her family throw a party to celebrate her life. Please join us on Sunday November 9, 2-4 p.m. at 1000 Silverbirch Blvd, Hamilton, to reminisce and raise a glass to the life of the party herself, Sandra.
