Obituary of Jovo Trkulja

After a brief illness, Jovo passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in his 60th year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Branka of 39 years. Loving father of Djurdjica (Goran), Mirko and Dragana. Dear brother of Ljiljana (Dusan), Dragana, and Mirjana (Pajo). Jovo will be immensely missed by his grieving mother Marija (predeceased by his father Ilija). Jovo is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and Kumovi both here in Canada and in the former Yugoslavia.

Jovo loved working with his dear colleagues and friends at Walters Group. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their exceptional care, compassion, and support.

Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, October 13, 2025  from 5-8 p.m. Pomen at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 12 p.m. with the Very Reverend Father's Dragomir Ninkovic and Djuro Samac officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens, Stoney Creek.
