I met John at a job fair with Fortinos in 1987.
It was always a pleasure when John would stop by the store or the production room for a quick chat, whether to tell a joke, have a laugh or talk shop, it was always welcome.
John often talked fondly about family and you Sandra, his life long partner. That was what was most important to him, family.

Sandra, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You and John know me a simply Dave from Pillers but you were both so much more to me on personal level. John was always accommodating and would give me the straight goods in expectations with being a good vendor to Fortinos. John’s personality and energy inspired me to put in the extra efforts in providing the best deals I could not for John but what was really important to him - the Fortinos Customer. He was the epitome of the Fortinos Family spirit and I have carried with me throughout my career since serving Fortinos. He has been an inspiration and provided me with many great memories that I often reflect on.
