As a new singer with the grimsby barbershop group, George instantly took me under his wing as we both shared a sales background and a baritone singing voice. With his warm handshake and vibrant smile he instantly made this new barbershopper at the time feel like we’d been life long friends. Very sad to hear and have missed a chance to say good bye.

Dear Karen, although I never knew your dad, I knew you and in reading about him I can see why you were as kind and as friendly as you were during our time together in the baseball league in Stoney Creek. I hope the wonderful memories of him give you comfort now and in the future. Sincerely Pat Hickey

That was a beautiful remembrance, and so fitting.
Our heartfelt condolences to George's children and grandchildren.
He was just the loveliest, kindest and sweetest man. I didn't see him as often as I wish I had, but I am grateful to have known him, and honoured to have been Georgie's cousin.

My sincerest condolences to the family and June.
He was the best guy ever. So thoughtful calling for birthday wishes and sending cards in his younger years. George had the best sense of humour. I always had a good chuckle with him. I can just see him saying “I made it guys” to all his pals up in heaven and having Sunday breakfast with them.
We will miss you George.

Our deepest condolences. George was such a wonderful neighbour. He would be our fountain of information for anything needed. George was always in the know. We both missed him when he moved away, and always kept in prayers. George is at peace with his loving wife.

The day we met on Brae Cres my life changed. The days we spent together under mom and dad’s watchful caring eyes i will always remember. The kindest family of neighbours anyone could ask for. A dynamite sense of humour, Karen and Kevin were truly blessed. Dad was always there with quick witted jokes or creative ideas to help with our busy summer projects. Mr Wallace you were a ROCK ⭐️
