Obituary of Giuseppe Centurione

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Centurione who left us peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born in Italy, Giuseppe came to Canada with his beloved wife Antonia, with whom he shared a lifelong partnership of love, faith, and devotion. Together, they built a home and a family, rooted in the traditions of their homeland and enriched by the opportunities of their new country. Giuseppe was a hardworking man who cherished being in the garden, crafting homemade wine and cheeses.

He will be remembered for the joy he found in gathering loved ones around the table to share a meal and listen to his harmonica. His life was an example of resilience, generosity, and dedication. He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Antonia, his children Anna Gina, Eva Guidi (Michel), Luciano (Karen), Pino (Karen), grandchildren Monique (Romain), Robert (Tahira), Marie (Brandon), Adam, the late Michelle, and by 8 great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends both here in Hamilton and abroad.

Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Cemetery.
