Obituary of Graham "Bud" Smith

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bud on September 27, days after his 93rd birthday. Bud is pre-deceased by his devoted wife Dorothy and his daughter Debbie. 

He is survived by his son Michael (Gudi), grandchildren Veronica (Don), Virginia, Amanda (Jeff), Aaron, and great-grandchildren Spencer, Avery, Ainslee, Zoey and Oliver. 

Bud was a 42 year employee of Stelco Hamilton, working in the metallurgy lab, and a volunteer fireman with the Winona Fire Department. 

Special thanks to the staff of Shalom Manor in Grimsby, where Bud was a resident for the past 8 years. Their care and compassion was nothing but exceptional.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, October 3rd from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, ON. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family.
