Cherished husband of Patricia (nee Graham) for 69 years. Much loved father of Bob (Carolyn) and Karen Criminisi (Charlie) and adored grandpa of Melissa, Gillian, Lindsay (Eric) and Colleen (Quinn). Proud great-grandfather of Kennedy. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Gertrude Colwell, his in-laws Frank and Daisy Graham, siblings Eldon (Nellie), Joan (Arnold), Lloyd, Eva (Malcolm) and brother-in-law George Graham (Donna). Neil is survived by his brother Carl (Marilyn) and sister-in-law Mona Colwell and many nieces and nephews.
Neil was born in Northampton, New Brunswick and moved to Ontario in 1953, settling in Hamilton where he met and married Pat in 1956. He was a dedicated employee of Stelco for 37 years before retiring in 1991. Neil served the Stoney Creek community for many years as a volunteer firefighter and later as a driver for the VON and Meals on Wheels.
The family would like to thank the dedicated care givers at St. Peter’s Hospital, especially Ashlee and Danuta.
