Obituary of Antoni Paliniewicz

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Antoni, surrounded by loved ones at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Diane for 48 years. Dearly loved father of Monica (Matthew) LeHoux, and Michelle. Dziadzia will be deeply missed by Isabelle and Hannah. Dear brother of Marysia (Wojtek) Grotowska in Poland, and uncle of Ania and Malgosia and their family. Will be missed by his cousins Krzysztof (Czesia) Sowa, Walter (Liliana) Pelech and family, and by brother-in-law Eddie (Joan), sisters-in-law Krystyna, Marysia, and their families. Predeceased by his parents Jan and Jadwiga Paliniewicz. Dear son-in-law of Kristine and the late Jan Podmokly. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.

Antoni had a love for soccer, golf, and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Heartfelt thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Parish, 8 St. Ann St., Hamilton, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Cancer Research Society would be greatly appreciated.
