Obituary of Edward John Tomlinson

"Absent from the body, present with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

Ed  was born November 20, 1939 and passed peacefully on September 11, 2025 at St. Peter's Hospital, in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Hampson) for 58 years, and together worked their dairy farm in York, Ontario. Loved father of Robin (Annette), Paul (Michelle), Karen Thomas (Duane) and Susan Cicero (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Alyshia (Bart), Melissa (Josh), Joshua, Grace, Brenna, Sydney, Wesley, Jovie, Lana and great-grandchildren Ethan and Kelsea. Ed was predeceased by his parents John and Amelia (Shannon) Tomlinson and siblings Bill and Rae Tomlinson.

Friends will be received at Paramount Drive Alliance Church, 1035 Paramount Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, September 20th from 9:30 a.m until the Funeral Service which will begin at 11 a.m. A private family interment will be held in Unity Cemetery, Caledonia.
