Hi Sylvia. Saddened to read of Ed’s passing. Although little contact over the years, he was always open and friendly when we met. His mom was my grade 7 and 8 teacher. Thought of often, especially when driving on the 2nd line..we were away during celebrations..please accept condolences.. Bruce and Laurie MacDonald

My sincere condolences on the passing of Ed a loving father and husband to Sylvia. Ed was always a soft spoken man who loved his family and the Lord Jesus. As a farmer I always knew him to be hard worker providing for his family and those of us who understood the value of their hard work and dedication. We would come together at the Stoney Creek Alliance Church to share our faith through song and fellowship. May he Rest In Peace. Psalm 46:10

Fondly remember Ed at Stoney Creek Alliance Church. A wonderful example of a humble Christ follower. He always had time to give to anyone who approached him. He was genuinely interested in the journey of others. God used his gentle spirit, mature mind, and gracious attitude; to touch many lives. Blessings on Sylvia and family.

Ed always had an encouraging word for us when we ministered at Stoney Creek Alliance church. He was a man of strong faith and integrity and his love for his family was so evident. Ed was an easy man to love and respect. Coming from our own farming background we always loved visiting their farm. He will be missed by many and our thoughts and prayers are with Sylvia and the family.
