Obituary of Laurie Ann Harris

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Laurie Ann Harris, who left us peacefully on September 4, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, on March 11, 1957, Laurie built a life filled with kindness, compassion, and beauty.

Laurie is survived by her beloved husband, Carl. She was a proud and loving stepmother to Tom (Hailey) and Jamie (Lindsay), and a cherished “Granny” to Claire and Benny, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by several dear friends who enriched her life with love and companionship. She is predeceased by Adele and Merle, whom she held close in memory.

Laurie’s passion for flowers and her dedication to her community shone through in her work as the longtime manager of Westdale Florist, where she shared her artistry and warmth with countless families and friends. Beyond her career, she found joy in cooking, gathering loved ones around her table, and extending her compassion to all who knew her.

Following Laurie's Funeral Service, friends are invited to a reception at the Meadowlands Retirement Community, 1248 Mohawk Rd West, Ancaster
