Obituary of Sandra "Sandy" Joyce Lynn Haw

Passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 29, 2025 at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 81. Predeceased by her beloved husband Neil (2022). Loving mother of Randy (Mary Lou) and Dwayne (Trish). Proud grandmother of Jesse (Kriti), Cassidy (predeceased), Cayleigh (Andrew), Emma, and Ethan. Predeceased by her parents Dorene Ogden Smith and Robert Ogden. Dear sister of Robert (Brenda) Ogden, Roy Ogden (predeceased), Sharon Willrich (Ron, predeceased), Joan Baker (predeceased) (Bill, predeceased) Dawn (Dave) Lumsden, Denise (Dennis) Taylor, David (Dee) Ogden, Patricia Burke (Mike, predeceased), and Shelley Ogden (Tony Mardel).

Sandy enjoyed spending time at the cottage, going on long walks, and time with her family and friends. She was a longstanding employee at Sears in the Centre Mall.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, September 4 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5 at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated.
